Single spring cotter pins

Spring cotter pins DIN 11024, due to the types of execution and the materials used, are ideal for securing threaded connections against self-unscrewing of nuts and for axial securing of pins with a hole for a spring cotter pin.

Spring cotter pins DIN 11024 are used to secure pins and axles. They can also be used to prevent rotation of, for example, DIN 935 castle nuts. They can be easily fitted and reused. Pins are elements found in joints and moving parts of machines and devices.

Single turn cotter pins have a flatter spring characteristic and are therefore easier to install. However, in the case of a double winding, it is possible to secure the cotter pin against loss thanks to the possibility of attaching a safety rope with a ring.
