Nails

The main task of nails is to connect various elements. Nails are most often made of steel wire and can have a raw or galvanized coating, which additionally protects against corrosion. Less frequently, this fastener is also made of copper, brass or aluminum.

What are the types of nails? We can divide them into six basic groups:

  • construction nails,
  • carpentry and general purpose nails,
  • cooper nails,
  • shoemaker's nails,
  • protective nails and nails for fixing fittings,
  • special nails,

By far the largest group in our assortment are construction nails. Among them we can distinguish, among others: roofing nails or torsion nails, as well as nails for concrete. The first of them, papiaks, as the name suggests, are used for roofing felt. Torsion nails, in turn, are used for roof trusses and structures requiring high strength, where there is a torsion moment. The last of them, hardened nails, thanks to their high durability, are used to work in concrete, brick and hard wood. They are used primarily for roof boarding, but also for attaching building wall sheathing and holders for technical installations. Ceiling nails are a specific subgroup of construction nails. They are used in a specific place - on the ceiling. Their unusual shape allows them to fit in hard-to-reach places and effectively connect elements.

The domain of carpentry nails, as the name suggests, is the carpentry industry. They are also known as finishing nails or paneling nails. This type also includes ring pallet nails, which are most often used for nailing pallets and transport boxes, wooden packaging, but also various equipment. Upholstery nails, on the other hand, are usually used to cover furniture with fabric, and their decorative head makes them perfectly match the material.

Most of the nails mentioned above are in stock and available immediately. In a short time, however, we also have the opportunity to obtain products from other groups.
